Connie Pillich for Governor

Governor – Ohio

Connie Pillich is a legislator, attorney, MBA, veteran, and mom.

Connie put herself through college with an Air Force ROTC scholarship, student loans, and part-time work.  She spent eight years on active duty and served in support of Operation Desert Storm.  She achieved the rank of Captain and is a three-time recipient of the Air Force Commendation Medal.  After serving in the Air Force and earning her MBA, Connie worked as a public defender.  She later opened her own law practice before running for public office.

In 2008, Connie was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives, winning a seat that had long been held by the opposing party.  Representative Pillich held the seat for three terms before opting to leave the legislature.

As a legislator, Representative Pillich supported the Ohio military community by introducing bipartisan legislation to connect veterans with their benefits, help military families meet the financial challenges of deployments and transfers, and get veterans and their families back to work.  Representative Pillich served as ranking member of the Veterans Affairs committee, convened the Veterans Caucus to highlight issues facing Ohio’s military community, and introduced the Ohio Veterans Bonus for veterans of Operations Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom.

Connie currently lives in suburban Cincinnati with her husband, Paul Forshey, and their two children, Kayla and Tallin.
