Donald Trump isn't even president, and he's increased wait times for veterans

WASHINGTON, DC – The largest progressive group of veterans in America,, is today noting that without even being President, Donald Trump has already increased wait times for veterans seeking what they were promised. 

As reported in the Wall Street Journal last evening, many veterans’ organizations still haven’t received checks promised to them by the Trump campaign.  Those funds were raised at a January 28th event, designed to give Mr. Trump something to hide behind, when he too afraid to show up to the GOP Debate moderated by Megyn Kelly, that night. 

“Under President Obama, we finally have seen a near elimination of the claims backlog that kept so many veterans waiting for their benefits, and the administration is cutting down on wait times at VA centers,” said Jon Soltz, Iraq War Veteran and Chairman of  “Without even stepping foot in the Oval Office, Donald Trump has created a new problem of backlogs and wait times, for veterans looking for what they were promised.” 

“First, top veterans’ groups said they didn’t want his money, so he had to scramble and beg other groups to take his donation.  And now he can’t manage getting a few checks out the door, to them,” Soltz added.  “Pretty soon, we’re going to need a hotline for veterans who’ve been harassed and/or let down by Donald Trump.”
