Veterans Group Excited by Kerrey Decision

Washington, DC - PAC, a national veterans organization, today is cheering the decision of former Senator Bob Kerrey's decision to run again for Senate in Nebraska.  Kerrey had been on the Board of Advisors for the group.  Jon Soltz, an Iraq War Veteran and Chairman of said:

"Senator Kerrey's decision to run for Senate again is a great development.  He's exactly the kind of person we need back in Washington right now.  For us veterans, Senator Kerrey's experience and passion for veterans' issues is extremely important.  And, with so many people facing huge issues, from the economy to unemployment, his leadership is needed now more than ever. plans to be fully engaged in Nebraska, and will announce our plans in the coming days."

Founded in 2006, the mission of Political Action Committee is to elect Veterans to public office, with a focus on Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, and hold public officials accountable for their words and actions that impact America's 21st century troops and veterans.
