VoteVets endorses Mike Parrish for Congress

Malvern, PA – The largest progressive veterans group in America, PAC, is endorsing Mike Parrish for the 6thCongressional District in Pennsylvania.

“Mike exemplifies leadership,” said Rick Hegdahl, Veterans Outreach Coordinator for VoteVets PAC.  “Whether it was throughout his three decades in the military, or as the head of numerous job-creating companies, Mike is just the kind of leader that we need in Washington.”

“Seeing that Mike’s opponent has backed Donald Trump – a person who does not have the temperament to be Commander in Chief, it is abundantly clear that Mike has far superior judgment than his opponent,” Hegdahl added.

According to his bio, after graduating from West Point in 1985, Mike Parrish served as an Army Aviator for 14 years. Upon leaving active duty, he transitioned to the Army Reserves.  His military service now spans 30 years.

Mike received a Master’s in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. In the private sector, Mike started at General Electric in 1998, where he helped modernize global delivery services to save millions of dollars while improving on-time delivery performance.

In 2003, he founded an environmental services company that he grew into a $10 million company with 100 employees in just four years. Mike went on to serve as the chairman and CEO of an infrastructure company, where he increased profitability by 115% and improved shareholder equity by over 200% in less than two years.

Currently, Mike is an entrepreneur, and helps turn around small, struggling businesses. He has lived in Malvern since 2001. He has three children ages 13, 10, and 6.

Founded in 2006, the mission of Political Action Committee is to elect Veterans to public office, with a focus on Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, and hold public officials accountable for their words and actions that impact America's 21st century troops and veterans. Though PAC is non-partisan, candidates it backs must support's core mission and beliefs.
