VoteVets Endorses Kim Olson for Congress

Addison, TX – The largest progressive group of veterans in America, VoteVets PAC, is today endorsing Kim Olson for Congress.

“Everyone was blown away by Kim’s campaign announcement video, but that’s really just who she is,” said Jon Soltz, Iraq War Veteran and Chair of VoteVets. “This is a no nonsense person, who gets things done, come hell or high water.  More importantly, when she gets things done, it isn’t for herself, it’s for others.  Whether it was men and women under her command, or for schoolkids in Texas, Kim Olsen is just about getting it done.  That’s why she’s going to be a great Congresswoman.”

Kim Olson is 25-year combat veteran, who was among the first generation of female military pilots, accumulating nearly 4,000 hours of flying time.  The first woman to command an operational flying squadron, Olson rose to the rank of Colonel, served in the Pentagon on the Joint Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense, and the Air Staff, and deployed to several combat zones, including Iraq.
