VoteVets Endorses Perkins For Senate

The largest progressive group of veterans in America, VoteVets PAC, is today endorsing Army  veteran Adrian Perkins to be the next US Senator from Louisiana.

“In these unprecedented times we need leaders and visionaries like Adrian in the United States Senate,” said Jon Soltz, Chair of VoteVets. “Adrian’s military and government experience and his commitment of service and community is exactly what we need in Washington right now. He will be a tireless fighter for veterans, service members, and all Louisiana. We’re proud to endorse him.”

After September 11th, Perkins answered the call of duty to serve and attended the United States Military Academy at West Point. After completing Army Ranger training, Perkins served three tours, including in Iraq and Afghanistan, and earned the rank of Captain and the Bronze Star.

After leaving the Army and graduating from Harvard Law School, Perkins returned to his hometown of Shreveport and was elected Mayor.
