PAC Endorses Enyart for Congress

Belleville, IL - Political Action Committee, the largest group of progressive veterans in America, representing over 220,000 supporters, is endorsing Bill Enyart's campaign for the House of Representatives from Illinois 12th Congressional District, today.

Tammy Duckworth, another endorsed candidate for the House, penned an email's supporters, urging them to donate to Enyart's campaign. 

Her email, in part, read, " I know and respect this man greatly, and I can tell you that if elected to Congress...We will both do you proud."

Bill Enyart recently retired as the Adjutant General of Illinois where he was the senior officer in the chain-of-command for the Illinois Army and Air National Guards' 13,000 soldiers and airmen.  A life-long Guardsman, Enyart in his civilian life was an attorney in the district, before assuming command of the Illinois National Guard in 2007.

Founded in 2006, the mission of Political Action Committee is to elect Veterans to public office, with a focus on Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, and hold public officials accountable for their words and actions that impact America's 21st century troops and veterans. Though PAC is non-partisan, candidates it backs must support's core mission and beliefs.
