Ads will back candidacy of Iraq War veteran Gina Ortiz-Jones’ Candidacy

SAN ANTONIO, TX – The largest progressive group of veterans in America, VoteVets PAC, has made its first television buy for the fall campaign, in the 23rd Congressional District of Texas.  The group is reserving 1000 points of air time in San Antonio during the first half of September, to support the candidacy of Iraq War Veteran Gina Ortiz-Jones.  The total cost of the buy is $270,000.

“We’ve long been excited about Gina Ortiz-Jones’ odds of taking this seat, bringing the much-needed voice of a veteran and woman of color to Capitol Hill,” said Jon Soltz, Iraq War Veteran and Chairman of VoteVets PAC.  “We’re happy to make this our first official ad buy for the fall campaign, and look forward to announcing a lot more in the coming weeks and months, to support the many strong progressive veterans around the country who can win in the fall.”
